Tornike Rijvadze noted at the meeting of the Ajara government that tourism in has returned to the 2019 data. Positive dynamics can be observed both in the direction of international and domestic tourism. Cultural life, international festivals are activated in the region, which is important both for the residents of Ajara and for our guests.

"Regarding the restoration of tourism, I want to provide the public with updated information. By all parameters, the dynamics of tourist flows have been restored, and it must be said that Ajara has recently been particularly outstanding in terms of cultural life. A number of important festivals were held in the city, which are important for both residents of Ajara and tourists. I would like to point out that the construction of tourist and sports infrastructure is underway in all municipalities of Ajara. A new, modern bicycle infrastructure has already been organized in Keda and Shuakhevi. Also, the construction of a new boulevard was completed in Kobuleti. New tourist shelters and picnic infrastructure were organized in Shuakhevi at Jvarimindori. An ethno-village was built in Machakhela, which is important for Khelvachauri municipality,’ - said Tornike Rijvadze.
