The Construction of a New Public School in Feria already completed

The Chairman of the Government of Ajara Tornike Rijvadze together with the Minister of Education, Culture and Sport of Ajara Maia Khajishvili visited the newly built public school for 430 students in the village of Feria in Khelvachauri.

The construction of a new public school in Feria in Khelvachauri Municipality has been completed by the current academic year with the funding of the Government of Ajara. The cost of construction amounted to 3.4 million GEL. The 4-storey school, built according to modern standards, has laboratories, a modern library space, sports and assembly halls. A schoolyard was arranged, the infrastructure is fully adapted for people with disabilities.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Ajara, within the increased budget of the Government of Ajara, will build 18 public schools and gyms in 2021, of which 10 schools will be completed this year. Rehabilitation works of 40 schools are also underway in Ajara.
